Prosthesis is the field of dentistry in which artificial teeth are placed in place of missing teeth. Fixed or removable prostheses are made depending on the number of missing teeth, the location of the missing teeth, and the condition of the surrounding tissues. With the application of implants, with the right evaluation, both fixed and removable prostheses can be made. Prosthesis must be made shortly after the loss of teeth because there may be spaces or extensions in the remaining teeth after the teeth are lost and correction may not be possible later. Regular dental checks are very important after prostheses are made.
